Orapa Mine is a deduction game for 2 to 5 players by Junghee Choi and Wanjin Gill, published by Korean studio Playte. It plays in about 20 to 30 minutes, works for ages 8 and up, and is at its best as a two-player duel.
One player runs the mine and secretly arranges tangram-shaped mineral pieces on a hidden grid behind a screen. The others are explorers: on each turn they send a probe into the grid from one edge and learn where it comes out and which colour it picked up on the way. From these clues they gradually work out the exact position and colour of every mineral. The first explorer to map the whole mine correctly wins. Simple rules, real brain-burn: a compact logic puzzle with wooden pieces in a small box that travels well.
