Fields of Fire III: The Parachute Regiment is a solitaire tactical wargame for one player, designed by Colin Parsons for Ben Hull's Fields of Fire system and published by GMT Games. This stand-alone volume follows 2 PARA of the British Parachute Regiment through three campaigns: Arnhem in 1944, the Falklands in 1982 and Helmand Province, Afghanistan, in 2008. A fourth book of stand-alone missions adds scenarios for one-off games. Instead of dice, an Action Deck drives combat, orders and activities, while terrain decks build the map for each mission. You lead sections, weapons teams and vehicles as counters, and carry experience and replacements from mission to mission.
