The mountains have always sheltered those who fight for freedom. Liberation: Alpine Extension takes the cooperative resistance deck-building of Liberation into the rugged terrain of the Alps — where Maquis fighters used the mountains as cover to carry out daring operations against occupying forces and secure escape routes for those fleeing persecution.
This expansion for Liberation introduces a new Alpine theatre of operations, adding new missions, terrain-specific mechanics, and resistance cards inspired by the real mountain networks of the French and Italian Alps. The landscape shapes your strategy: ambushes in mountain passes, supply chain disruptions along Alpine roads, and clandestine crossings that helped countless refugees and downed Allied pilots reach safety.
What This Expansion Adds
- New Alpine-themed resistance missions set in mountain terrain
- Terrain mechanics reflecting the strategic advantages and challenges of the Alps
- New resistance cards expanding cooperative deck-building options
- A fresh campaign arc distinct from the D-Day Extension
Requires Liberation to play. Can be combined with the D-Day Extension for an expanded campaign. Supports 1–4 players.
