In Kano, 2 to 4 painters compete to create their own emakimono, the traditional Japanese painted handscrolls. Swap paint pots on the shared palette, collect matching pigments, and let them fall into place on your scroll to form the patterns you need.
Completed patterns turn into beautiful artwork tiles, and secret masterpiece cards reward careful planning. Just don't let too much paint dry on your board, or it turns into clouds that score nothing. With art by Jun Sato, Kano is a calm-looking but tactical puzzle of timing and spatial planning.
