Galileo Galilei: Luna is the first expansion for Galileo Galilei, the acclaimed euro strategy game by Tomáš Holek and Pink Troubadour. If you loved observing distant planets in the base game, Luna turns your telescope to a new target closer to home — the Moon — while adding four new playable astronomers and a cast of Grand Inquisitors who raise the historical stakes.
The centrepiece of this expansion is a new lunar exploration board. The Moon introduces a fresh scoring mechanic that runs parallel to the base game's planetary discovery track, giving you new strategic paths and forcing you to decide how to split your attention between the cosmos and your own satellite. Do you invest in lunar observation, or focus on the star systems that made you famous?
What's New in Luna
- Lunar exploration board — the Moon as a new object of observation with its own scoring mechanic
- 4 new playable astronomers — each with unique abilities that change your strategic approach
- Grand Inquisitors — a more dangerous take on the Inquisitor threat from the base game
- New historical figures — adding depth, flavour, and fresh strategic options
Requires Galileo Galilei to play. Supports 1–4 players, ages 14+, 60–90 minutes.
