Gazebo - EN

Gazebo is an abstract tile-placement game for 2–4 players, ages 8 and up, with a playing time of about 30 minutes. Designed by Reiner Knizia with art by A. Giroux, it suits families and abstract strategy fans who enjoy short, tense battles over territory. This Bitewing Games edition is in English.

You place dominoes on a shared garden map to form nooks of flowers, foliage or water, then set your gazebos on them and claim patios. Larger nooks swallow smaller ones and rivals can steal patios, and the first player to place all their gazebos wins. The game is a reworked take on Knizia's Qin.
