Product Description:

Lights, camera, action — Movie Fight is a competitive card game about building the best cinema in town. Designed by Michal Peichl and published by Pink Troubadour, this light strategy game gives 1–5 players 30 minutes to fill their theatre with films, equipment, and satisfied moviegoers.

Each player manages a personal cinema board with two floors: audience seats on the left, screens and upgrades on the right. Over 12 rounds, you’ll draft cards from a shared display and slide them into your cinema — recruiting viewers with specific tastes and programming films across five genres: romance, action, mystery, sci-fi, and fantasy. The trick is matching what’s on your screens to what your audience actually wants to watch.

How to Play

On your turn, pick one of three face-up cards and add it to your cinema as either a viewer or a screen card. Screen cards trigger immediate effects when played — some benefit only you, others give all players a chance to upgrade if they meet the condition. A wild card symbol adds flexibility but only counts as a film at end-game scoring, so timing matters.

After 12 rounds, score points for satisfied viewers, cinema tile bonuses, and any end-game effects. It’s short, accessible, and more strategically layered than it first appears — the upgrade chains can create surprisingly powerful combos.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Clever multi-use card system — every card can go two different ways
  • Five film genres create meaningful drafting decisions
  • Solo mode included — full experience for one player
