Travel back to early 20th-century Taiwan in Butterfly Kingdom, a family-friendly card game inspired by the island’s rich natural history. Known as the “Kingdom of Butterflies” thanks to its unique climate and more than 400 species — including 50 endemic ones — Taiwan provides the perfect backdrop for this set-collection challenge.

In the game, 3–5 players take on the roles of butterfly catchers and researchers, racing to collect, preserve, and publish their findings before others. Using hand management, you’ll form specimen sets by drawing new butterfly cards or cleverly exchanging discarded ones. Timing is crucial: the first player to complete their hand earns extra prestige points, pushing them closer to victory.
